Over at Uncomma, Tom Huxter has posted a rather good, if somewhat rambling article about Don Quixote being one of the first recorded instances of an otaku. At first glance, my first instinct was to pooh pooh the idea but as I read further, I saw that ol’ Tom had a point. I’ll be looking forward to reading part 2 of his article.

As stated in the About page, this blog being brand new, there’s not much content here yet. So, in the interest of keeping you up to date on all the Anime and Manga you want as well as music, art and other otaku subjects take a look over at AnimeBlips. There’s so much info over there that you just know I’ll be subscribing to their feed.

Not only does AnimeBlips have all this otaku stuff to report on, apparently they actually promote other peoples otaku blogs as well. Like Issac’s blog, Nest of the Fledgling Otaku. You just wait, AnimeBlips… I’m new at this but you’ll be begging to interview me one day. Keep the otakudude in mind!
